Thanks to Devon Carers' Link and Torrington Health Centre, Carers Pamper Afternoons including EFT were held in both Barnstaple and Torrington. Carers participated in 20-minute EFT taster sessions with Jacqui either individually or as part of a small group. They completed an evaluation form: 8 out of 9 said they definitely experienced a shift during their session and all 9 said they would continue to use tapping to help deal with challenges in their lives. One added the following comment:
"At last, 'hope' for an outstanding issue that has been with me for many years - Bring on the cure! More of the same!"
New for 2009 - EFT Community Service in South Molton, North Devon Posted at 18/09/09 - 11:00 AM
Jacqui is taking her EFT practice, which combines aspects of counselling, life-coaching, neuro-linguistic programming and psychotherapy with the powerful new energy-psychology technique, EFT, to South Molton's new Amory Centre community centre, donating 2 hours a week (Fridays 3 - 5 pm) to the local community and accepting donations to cover the cost of the room hire. The ethos of EFT is one of sharing healing opportunities, and the creation of this wonderful new facility seemed to provide the perfect opportunity to share EFT with the local community, especially in these troubled times when many may be experiencing financial anxieties. If you'd like to learn EFT at the Amory Centre and get help applying it to your particular challenges, contact Jacqui to book in for the next available Friday afternoon session.
Success for EFT at Exeter Airport (8th March 2008) Posted at 18/09/09 - 10:58 AM
Thanks to flyingfear.co.uk, working in partnership with FlyBe, Jacqui was part of a unique opportunity to teach EFT to a group of people spending a Saturday preparing to face their fear and take a short chartered flight out of Exeter, around Teignmouth Bay and back.
“We always have one whom we can’t persuade to go on the flight,” Jacqui was told at a briefing meeting with the team who had been doing these flying fear courses for some years, but using only orthodox techniques such as progressive relaxation to prepare for the flight, “but we manage to persuade most of them”.
Saturday, 8th March saw a group of 17, most of whom had never tapped before, or maybe never even heard of EFT, diligently copying Jacqui as she led them through the tapping movements and statements to reduce the emotional intensity of their fear. By the end of the session people were saying things like, “I just want to get on and do it” and “I’m ready for it now”. And every last one of them calmly walked on to the flight. There was some turbulence at one point on the flight, the greatest fear of one lady who started visibly shaking, but within a couple of minutes of Jacqui tapping on her she was feeling ok, and grateful for the turbulence, because she knew she’d be able to handle it in future.
